Trend: Big Prints

A new BIG trend lately are the oversized prints that add an instant wow effect to your space. Buy a print or use the picture perfect made by you and make an oversized copy. You can hang it on your wall, or just put it loosely on the floor against the wall. It will look great and will surely be a Big hit.

Amazing ranch Ellen Degeneres.

Wow what an amazing house this is.
I found these photos, made by William Abranowicz for Elle Decoration S.A., on the blog ‘French by Design’. This ranch, which is owned by Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, consists of 8 cabins which all have there own function. It really is a wonderful mix of items with a soul. The furniture, the art, the spaces and the feeling you get by just looking at it. And this is just their weekend 'get away'….

What a nice surprise when I logged in on Est Magazine (online magazine) and found this lovely collection of unique handmade homewares from Chocolate Creative. Margarita Lorzeno is the creative brain behind these cuties.
With the traditional craft of her Base in Spain and the wonderful nature of her adopted home England she has enough inspiration to design these landscape pillows.
I see them on my couch already…

Pack your stuff and go outside.

Wow, it's getting hot in the Netherlands the next few days, so that means we finally can pack our stuff and bring it all outside.. You like to make it look as cosy outside as it is on the inside of your house? Easy, just get some nice looking cushions, a blanket (for when it gets a bit colder in the evening), a polyester rug (specially made for outside), a 'green' box (HEMA), a garland with some lights, lovely lanterns with candles, a nice bottle of wine and of course your lover and friends. Enjoy.
